Caffè Boasi. The art of roasting.
The port of Genoa has always been an important hub for the world's best coffee production; this is why a "school" of roasting specialists flourishes in Genoa.
The birth
Among these, in the 1950s, the need arose to purchase, process and blend raw coffee: this is how TAG, “Torrefattori Associati Genova”, of the Boasi family (Caffé Boasi 1930) was born.
The new factory
In 2004, production moved from Via Spalato in Genoa to the new plant in Serravalle Scrivia (AL): 11,000 m2 of ultra-modern production facilities, capable of producing 200-250 quintals of coffee per day.
Quality and certified production
In 2007, TAG obtained two important quality certifications, ISO 9001 and IFS International Food Standard, a guarantee of ever-increasing attention to product quality and customer services.

The company, among the most important on the Italian market in the bar channel, is expanding its international distribution network and is becoming a point of reference in private labels thanks to its quality and personalized service. In 2016 TORREFATTORI ASSOCIATI SpA was born, a new company that owns the brands Pera, Caffè Boasi and Rostkafè.
